Who should attend the Canadian Circular Economy Conference? The Canadian Circular Economy Summit will provide an opportunity for 400 Canadian leaders from across sectors and industries to come together in-person, share leading efforts and activities, and to collaborate in support of Canada's climate change and biodiversity agendas. Attendees include professionals in corporate strategy, sustainability product design, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, finance, as well as entrepreneurs, nonprofits and trade associations, investors, public agencies and policy experts.

When and where will the event take place? The Canadian Circular Economy Summit will take place June 19-20, 2023, at the new, state-of-the-art Toronto Board of Trade Event Space, located on the third floor at 100 Queens Quay E right along the waterfront. Toronto’s waterfront is home to the city’s top emerging technology, arts, education, and business ecosystems, and is conveniently located downtown, minutes from the Financial District. The event space is walking distance to CF Eaton Centre, Queen Street West, the CN Tower and more. Surrounded by Toronto’s top attractions and dining venues, you can get to where you need to be in minutes.

How do I get to the event location? From Union Station, walking: Walk south down Bay St. to Queens Quay. At Queens Quay, make a left and walk east to 100 Queens Quay E. (20 mins)  From Union Station, by bus: Take the #19 Bay bus at Bay & Front, ride four stops to Queens Quay E. at Lower Jarvis St. Get off the bus and walk west to 100 Queens Quay E.  Through the PATH: 100 Queens Quay E. is accessible via the PATH from RBC WaterPark Place (Bay and Queens Quay). From WaterPark Place, walk east 600 m (8 mins). Driving from the east end: Drive west on the Gardiner Expressway, exit on the Bay/York St. exit, merge onto Lake Shore Blvd. W., turn right onto Yonge St., turn left onto Queens Quay E., take Queens Quay to 100 Queens Quay E.   Driving from the west end: Drive east on the Gardiner Expressway, exit at the York St./Bay St./Yonge St. Exit, continue straight onto Lake Shore Blvd. E., turn right onto Cooper St. and 100 Queens Quay E. is at the next intersection. By bicycle: 100 Queens Quay E. is conveniently located off the Martin Goodman Trail to easily bike east or west across Toronto.

Is there parking available? 100 Queens Quay E. has an underground parking lot on P1 & P2, accessible along Cooper St. The rate is $10/hr. up to a daily maximum of $25 from 6 AM to 6 PM. From 6 PM to 6 AM, it becomes a flat rate of $15. There are also several paid parking lots within walking distance of 100 Queens Quay E., as well as limited street parking.

Do you have a conference rate at any nearby hotels for attendees? You can refer to our accommodations page for all nearby hotel information and rates. Please keep in mind that available conference rate rooms are limited and are available on a first-come, first serve basis.

What is the cancellation policy? If for any reason you are unable to attend the event after purchasing your delegate pass, you may request to cancel your registration by contacting info@circulareconomysummit.ca. Your refund will be made according to the refund schedule below and will be issued based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. All refunds are subject to a $50 transaction fee. Refund Schedule: Registration cancellations received prior to April 30, 2023, will be refunded in full, less the transaction fee of $50. Registration cancellations received between May 1, 2023 and June 10, 2023, will receive a 50% refund, including the transaction fee of $50. Registration cancellations received after June 10, 2023, are not eligible for a refund. NOTE: Admission to the Canadian Circular Economy Summit may be refused at any time and a refund will be provided at the printed registration price.

Can I transfer my registration? If you find yourself unable to attend the Canadian Circular Economy Summit after registering, you are eligible to transfer your registration to another individual within your organization if you contact us no later than 5 business days before the start of the event. Contact us at info@circulareconomysummit.ca to request a registration transfer. The organizers have the right to exercise discretion when issuing registration transfers.

What if I have dietary restrictions? We will do our best to provide options for those with dietary restrictions. If you have special dietary needs, please indicate them in the 'Comments' section of the registration form. Please note that the organizers will do everything in its power to accommodate restrictions and allergies.

I think I have COVID / COVID-like symptoms, what do I do? Please follow the assessment advice from the Canadian government should you feel you have COVID-like symptoms. If you assess your risk of being symptomatic as high, please access a rapid test at a local pharmacy and immediately self-isolate.

How are you addressing the emissions associated with the Canadian Circular Economy Summit? The Canadian Circular Economy Summit 2023 will be completing a comprehensive carbon inventory of the event (including on-site operations, event staff travel, hotel stays, and food served) and will be offsetting all event-related emissions.

In what language will the Canadian Circular Economy Summit be conducted? The Canadian Circular Economy Summit 2023 will be primarily conducted in English.
